Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks an Executive Chef in Washington (Everett area) to oversee kitchen operations, maintain safety and sanitation, and direct meal preparation per corporate programs. This is an energetic, entrepreneurial culinary leadership role.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of kitchen management, hands-on chef experience, and strong knowledge of food cost controls, sanitation, and staff development. Standout ServSafe certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
• Hands-on chef experience required
• ServSafe certification desirable

Responsibilities

• Plan regular and modified menus per guidelines
• Follow standardized recipes and keep production logs
• Train kitchen staff on food prep, safety, and sanitation
• Maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and spaces
• Manage inventory to ensure availability and cost controls
• Make decisions on leftover food within company guidelines
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Participate in departmental meetings and staff development
