Job summary

University of Georgia’s Mary Frances Early College of Education seeks an Executive Assistant III to provide high-level support to the Dean. The role manages the Dean’s calendar, correspondence, and confidential matters, while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and guiding office operations.

Responsibilities include drafting reports, coordinating meetings, and maintaining policy-driven processes with independent judgment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 5 years of related experience.
  • Administrative duties include managing the Dean's correspondence and calendar.
  • Responsibilities involve handling information that is sensitive, high-profile and confidential in nature.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive support for the Dean: manage the Dean's daily schedule and communications; brief the Dean on deadlines; prepare information for daily activities.
  • Anticipate and coordinate administrative matters for the Dean; respond to requests with confidentiality.
  • Serve as liaison with internal and external constituents: coordinate meetings; distribute agendas and supporting documents.
  • Provide leadership and management for the dean's office: receptionist duties, policy interpretation, event coordination, and ensuring compliance.
  • Draft correspondence and reports for the Dean, communicating accurately and in a timely manner.
