LHH is partnering with a growing organization in Washington, DC that is seeking a temporary Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to senior leadership. This is a long-term opportunity for a highly organized, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being a trusted partner to executives. The anticipated hourly rate is $28–$35 per hour.
Schedule & Work Arrangement
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Monday–Friday, with flexibility based on executive needs
- Assignment beginning in September
- Flexible hours as needed to accommodate executive schedules
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior executives and members of the leadership team.
- Oversee complex calendars, coordinate meetings, and proactively manage competing scheduling priorities.
- Arrange and coordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and detailed itineraries.
- Maintain accurate travel records and ensure calendars are updated with all necessary information.
- Prepare, organize, and reconcile executive expense reports.
- Coordinate executive dinners, leadership meetings, conferences, team events, and other special engagements.
- Manage event logistics, including restaurant reservations, menus, seating arrangements, and vendor coordination.
- Support annual gifting programs and assist with special projects as assigned.
- Serve as a professional point of contact for executives, colleagues, vendors, and external partners.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
- Assist executives with everyday technology platforms, including Outlook, Zoom, and internal AI tools.
- Anticipate needs, respond to changing priorities, and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
- Provide a high level of service while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting senior-level executives; VP, SVP, or C-suite experience is highly preferred.
- Strong background in complex calendar management and domestic/international travel coordination.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems independently.
- Comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, smartphones, video conferencing platforms, and travel booking systems.
- Service-oriented mindset with a polished, professional approach to executive support.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
