Job summary

RTX is seeking a Business Manager for the Ground Based Surveillance (GBS) Finance Team to support the GBRD program. The role involves financial planning, EVMS/EAC analysis, and close collaboration with program leaders and engineers to ensure sound budgeting and resource decisions.

The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, partnering with teams to drive efficiencies, meet deadlines, and apply rigorous financial controls in aerospace and defense programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) and/or Estimate At Complete (EAC) processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly earned value management cost and schedule control processes, analysis, and reporting to program leaders and stakeholders.
• Serve as a trusted business partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive excellence in financial execution.
• Brief senior program and functional leaders on execution status with strong financial acumen.
• Analyze key financial data including EVMS, EACs, investments, and manpower planning for sound decisions.
• Manage program baselines and ensure timely cost charging aligns with policies.
• Drive efficiencies in financial processes using up-to-date digital tools and resources.
• Understand and follow company policies and ethical standards.
