Job summary

RTX is seeking a Business Manager for the Ground Based Surveillance (GBS) Finance Team to support the GBRD program within SEW. The role involves EVMS, cost control, and close collaboration with Program Manager and IPT leads.

The candidate should have a strong background in earned value, cost management, and financial analysis, with experience in aerospace/defense finance. Hybrid work with on-site collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) and/or Estimate At Complete (EAC) process

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of monthly earned value management cost and schedule control processes, analysis, and reporting to program leaders and stakeholders.
• Be a trusted business partner with all internal and external stakeholders to drive excellence in financial execution.
• Brief senior program and functional leaders on program execution status displaying exceptional financial and business acumen
• Analyze key financial data that will enable sound program decision making; this includes earned value cost and schedule metrics, estimates at complete (EACs), program investments, and manpower planning
• Manage and maintain program baselines and ensure accuracy and timeliness of program cost charging aligned to business directives and policies
• Drive efficiencies, agility, and speed into financial processes utilizing the most up to date digital technology tools, training, and resources.
• Understand and execute within the guidelines of company and business policies and procedures and ethical standards
