Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking an administrative and customer service professional to support daily service center operations. You will handle documentation, data entry, scheduling, and customer inquiries in a fast-paced office/dock environment.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Starting pay is $20.20 per hour with a potential range to $23.63.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years general office experience preferred.
• 1 year customer service experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative/clerical tasks including filing, data entry, phone answering and mail/distribution.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Provide accurate information to customers, determine pickup/delivery needs and assist with sales leads.
• Enter freight shipment information and generate/fix bills.
• Assist customers via phone, email and fax with inquiries.
• Make freight delivery appointments as required.
• Review drivers’ Hours-of-Service logs and report discrepancies.
