Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is hiring an ED Registration Representative Nashoba for evening, part-time 16-hour shifts at Nashoba SEF in Groton, Marlborough, and surrounding areas. You will register patients, schedule labs and radiology, and coordinate with multiple campuses under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma, EPIC training, and optional college degree in business or healthcare. Training in Marlborough and Worcester is included; weekend and holiday coverage is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• EPIC training classes are required.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare related field preferred.
• Must work every other weekend and Holidays.
• Initial Marlborough training for 4-6 weeks; EPIC training in Worcester.

Responsibilities

• Enter Lab, Radiology and basic ancillary service appointments to schedules.
• Schedules patients for treatment and services for multiple providers at multiple campuses.
• Obtains and verifies patient insurance coverage; ensures pre-authorization and pre-certification.
• Telephones and notifies patient of appointment times.
• Maintains scheduling and/or registration accuracy rate of 97% or above.
• Performs clerical duties; maintains records, logs and related information.
