Job summary

UMass Memorial Health Marlborough is seeking a Patient Registration Clerk for 21 hours per week on evening shifts. You will register inpatient and outpatient visitors, collect demographics, verify insurance, and collect patient liabilities at or before service. Strong customer service and accuracy are essential.

On-site role with 3:30 pm–11:00 pm schedule; training provided; friendly team environment; commitment to respectful patient care and confidentiality throughout all registration duties.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• On-the-job training is provided under supervision.
• A basic understanding of medical terminology is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Register inpatient and outpatient demographics, insurance, and related information.
• Obtain signatures and collect patient liabilities prior to service.
• Maintain accuracy in the registration and scheduling processes and support patient wayfinding.
