Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 1–2 years of data entry experience.
• Proficient data-entry skills with attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Computer skills including Windows navigation.

Aufgaben

• Accurately obtains and enters demographic, insurance and related patient information.
• Verifies insurance coverage and assists with pre-authorizations.
• Schedules Radiology, Lab, and basic ancillary service appointments.
• Collects patient liabilities and assists with billing-related tasks.
• Performs bed control, transfers, discharges, and admissions tasks as needed.
• Provides information on patient preparation for scheduled procedures and services.
• Maintains accurate and timely records and handles clerical duties as required.
