Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Marlborough is hiring for an evening shift registration role. The position supports patient scheduling, insurance verification, and billing activities with a 16-hour weekly schedule and a 40-hour full-time framework.

The role requires a high school diploma, with preferred associates or bachelor’s in business or healthcare. Training includes EPIC system use and weekend/holiday coverage as part of the rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter Lab, Radiology and basic ancillary service appointments to schedules.
• Schedule patients for treatment and services for multiple providers at multiple campuses.
• Coordinate the provision of multiple services to patients.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorization and referrals as required.
• Collect patient liabilities prior to or on the date of service.
• Maintain accurate records and scheduling/privacy compliance.
