Job summary

UAB Temporary Services is seeking dependable Training Support Specialists for a large-scale Epic training initiative in Huntsville. The role provides onsite classroom, administrative, and logistical support to ensure training sessions run smoothly.

Responsibilities include greeting participants, assisting with check-in and basic computer access, setting up classrooms, and referring complex Epic questions to staff. This is a temporary position lasting roughly 4–5 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications require a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in customer-facing roles such as customer service, call center, front desk, or administrative support.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with computers and basic sign-in / login assistance.
• Ability to follow instructions and established processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high volume.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain schedules.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for scheduled employee training sessions at designated UAB locations.
• Greet participants, provide directions, assist with attendance and sign-in processes.
• Set up classrooms, workstations, materials, and supplies before and between sessions.
• Assist participants with basic computer functions, logging in/out, and accessing training systems.
• Refer login problems and Epic questions to training staff or technical support.
• Support instructors with classroom logistics and routine administrative tasks.
• Monitor supplies and maintain organized training spaces.
• Transport materials between training areas and run related errands.
• Communicate participant concerns and scheduling issues to training leadership.
• Perform other duties to support the Epic training initiative.
