Job summary

CHRISTUS Children's is seeking a Credentialed Trainer to deliver training for the Epic EHR systems, support end users, and collaborate with clinical and education teams to ensure effective adoption of workflows.

The role requires credentialing in assigned Epic applications within six months, with experience in instructional design and LMS preferred, and a mix of in-person and virtual training delivery. 5-day workweek, on-site, with a focus on operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience in education or Epic end-user training.
• Experience with Epic applications is strongly preferred.
• Experience with instructional design and LMS is preferred.
• Experience with adult learners, in-person and virtual training.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic to intermediate IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and teach classes for EHR implementation and adoption.
• Collaborate with end users and Principal Trainers to align training with workflows.
• Ensure coverage for scheduled classes and support activities.
• Prepare classrooms and materials; keep information updated in online modules.
• Provide onsite end-user support and seek out improvement opportunities.
• Attend meetings, deliverables on time, escalate issues appropriately.
