Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced BI Engineer with Epic Cogito expertise to independently configure, monitor, and maintain large BI platforms across the enterprise. You will ensure performance, security, and policy compliance while educating analysts and end users on BI tools.

The role supports healthcare analytics and data-driven decision making. Remote office environment with occasional travel, collaboration across time zones, and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications

• Epic Cogito certification experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience with Epic Cogito and BI tools.
• 5–7 years of experience in Epic applications and BI tools.
• Familiarity with Epic Cogito and related BI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Configure, test, monitor, and maintain analytical and operational BI platforms, systems, and servers.
• Monitor BI tools and systems for performance and policy compliance.
• Provide training and create job aids for BI/reporting usage and upgrades.
