Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a BI/Analytics Administrator to independently configure, monitor, and maintain BI platforms and servers in a remote environment. You will train analysts, manage upgrades, security changes, and the content lifecycle while collaborating across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Typically 5–7 years of experience in Epic applications and Business Intelligence tools.
• Epic certifications appropriate to job function; learning plan with 5 months to obtain missing Cogito/BI certifications.

Responsibilities

• Configure, test, monitor, and maintain analytical and operational BI platforms, systems, and servers.
• Monitor BI tools and systems for performance and policy compliance.
• Educate analysts and end users on BI/reporting usage and manage upgrades/changes.
• Provide on-going support for BI/reporting systems including security changes, licensing, and go-lives.
• Apply security changes and manage access per policy; simplify configurations for sustainability.
• Manage analytics content lifecycle: avoid duplication, monitor usage, retire content per process.
• Own project work and requests using appropriate tools/methodologies.
• Stay informed about healthcare, EHR, BI tech trends; drive professional growth.
• Mentor junior team members in BI/reporting administration.
