Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a seasoned BI and Epic Cogito specialist to configure, test, monitor, and maintain analytics platforms within a healthcare setting. The role emphasizes security, auditing, and training analysts on BI tools, upgrades, and content governance.

You will manage projects, stay current on EHR and BI trends, mentor junior staff, and support go-lives from a remote-capable role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience with Epic Cogito and BI tools.
• Typically requires 5-7 years of experience in Epic applications and BI tools.
• Exposure to Epic Cogito Systems, project management and system utilization monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Configure, test, monitor, and maintain BI platforms, systems, and servers.
• Monitor BI tools and systems to ensure performance and policy compliance.
• Mentor junior team members and train analysts on BI/reporting tools and upgrades.
• Provide on-call support for BI/reporting systems and participate in go-lives.
• Manage security changes and access provisioning per policy; audit content usage.
• Oversee analytics content lifecycle and retire content per processes.
