Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced BI/Epic Cogito Administrator to independently configure, test, monitor, and maintain BI platforms and servers. You will monitor tools, enforce policy-compliant content, train analysts, and support go-lives while ensuring security changes and on-call coverage.

A strong healthcare IT background and Epic Cogito experience are essential. Remote role with occasional travel; collaboration across time zones, mentoring, and leadership consultation are expected

Qualifications

• Epic Cogito certifications preferred
• Exposure to Epic Cogito Systems, project management, communications and system utilization monitoring/auditing
• Experience with Epic applications and BI tools
• Familiarity with 3rd party BI tools and administration
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and productivity tools

Responsibilities

• Configure, test, monitor, and maintain analytical and operational BI platforms, systems, and servers
• Monitor BI tools to ensure optimal performance
• Ensure content created by developers adheres to policies and best practices; train analysts and end users
• Provide support for BI/reporting systems including maintenance, upgrades, security changes, license provisioning, issue resolution
• Manage security for BI/reporting systems and support on-call rotations
• Manage lifecycle of analytics content and audit content creation to avoid duplication
• Stay informed about healthcare environment, EHR and BI technology trends
• Mentor junior team members in BI/reporting administration
