Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced BI/Analytics professional to independently configure, test, monitor, and maintain Epic Cogito and BI platforms in a remote work setting. You will monitor performance, train analysts, and manage upgrades while enforcing security and governance across BI tools.

The role requires 5–7 years of Epic BI experience, Epic Cogito certifications, and strong project management and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience with Epic Cogito and BI tools.
• Epic Cogito certifications required (Cogito, Cogito Tools Administration, Cogito Project Manager) or equivalent.
• Typically requires 5–7 years of experience with Epic applications and BI/analytics tools.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITIL and SPM modules is preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic Cogito systems, project management, communications, and system utilization monitoring/auditing.
• Preferred remote locations IL, WI, NC, GA.

Responsibilities

• Independently configure, test, monitor, and maintain analytical and operational BI platforms, systems, and servers.
• Monitor BI tools and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Train analysts and end users on BI/Reporting tools and manage upgrades/changes.
• Provide support for BI/reporting systems including maintenance, security changes, licensing, and on-call support.
• Apply security changes and manage access per policy; consolidate security configuration for sustainability.
• Manage lifecycle of analytics content; audit creation, monitor usage, retire content per process.
• Independently manage projects and requests using appropriate tools/methodologies.
• Stay informed about healthcare environment, EHR and BI tech trends; mentor junior team members.
