Advocate Health is seeking a senior BI engineer to independently configure, test, monitor, and maintain analytical and operational BI platforms and systems across the enterprise. You will mentor analysts, ensure content quality, and collaborate on security, upgrades, and go-lives in a remote office environment.

The role requires Epic Cogito expertise, strong BI tool knowledge, and a healthcare analytics background, with occasional travel for project collaboration and architecture reviews.

Qualifications

• Requires Epic Cogito certifications and experience with Cogito platforms.
• Experience administering and supporting BI/reporting tools in healthcare environments.
• Strong project management, communication, and system monitoring skills.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ITIL/SPM modules and data analytics in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Configure, test, monitor, and maintain BI platforms to meet operational needs.
• Monitor BI tools and systems for performance and policy adherence.
• Provide end-user training and develop job aids for BI tools and upgrades.
• Support BI/reporting systems including security changes and go-lives.
• Manage analytics content lifecycle and ensure content reuse and retirement per policy.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to leadership discussions.
• Stay updated on healthcare tech trends and EHR integrations.
