Job summary

Canon USA, a leader in technology, solutions, and services, seeks a Field Service Technician to deliver amazing experiences through routine maintenance of Canon-supported products. You will travel to customer sites, perform on-site and shop maintenance, and document service activities while upholding Service and Parts Standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, willingness to travel, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. You must pass security clearances and the PDIF training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to travel with valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time.
• Required to complete the PDIF new-hire class and security clearances as needed by customers.

Responsibilities

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with documentation.
• Provide efficient, responsive on-site maintenance to meet customer demands.
• Maintain Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintain performance of assigned machines.
• Contribute to branch/district metric targets.
