Job summary

Canon USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver on-site maintenance and service with the highest standards for Canon-supported products. You’ll support customers and ensure equipment performance and uptime.

Travel to customer sites, lift up to 50 pounds, and complete required PDIF introductions and security clearances while upholding safety and professionalism. Canon offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF new-hire class.
• Ability to travel with a valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Must obtain security/clearances required by customers to enter premises.
• Must lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with documentation.
• Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on-site maintenance.
• Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Showcase strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintain the performance of assigned machines.
• Facilitate performance to help achieve branch/district metric targets.
