Job summary

Canon USA is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair Canon equipment across customer sites. You will work in a hands-on role, performing on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and rapid response to service requests.

The position requires basic IT and networking understanding, travel readiness with a valid license, and the ability to operate in a 24/7 environment, including shift work and on-call rotations. A 50 lb lift requirement is noted in the job description.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of internet environments.
• Ability to travel with valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with shift/on-call rotations.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stay active >50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain working knowledge of multiple product groups and basic diagnostics.
• Meet and exceed customer demands with efficient, responsive field maintenance.
• Maintain Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Provide direction to less experienced technicians and escalate issues when needed.
