Job summary

Verizon in the Salt Lake City area is seeking a hybrid Customer Support Specialist to deliver high-quality service to business customers. You will troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, configure data and voice products, and support sales and support teams with technical guidance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus 1+ year of customer service or sales experience. Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is expected.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service and resolution support to multiple business customer types.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting for hardware and software, and diagnose network and application issues.
• Provide detailed information on how to set up/configure complex data and voice products.
• Provide efficient customer support with the ability to be proficient in customer-facing systems.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products and network to position them as solutions.
• Drive trouble ticket accuracy through deductive reasoning and tool utilization.
• Provide advanced technical support information to sales and support groups across channels.
• Create and accept change and innovation to create greater value for customers and stakeholders.
