Blue Yonder Defense Solutions, a Blue Yonder company, seeks a talented Proposal Writer to craft compelling proposals and presentations. You will work with the sales team and subject matter experts to gather information, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.

In this remote US role, you will lead responses to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs, shape win themes, and maintain a reusable content library. You will help drive messaging for enterprise buyers and optimize proposal processes with AI-enabled

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proposal writing experience in enterprise SaaS or B2B environments.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to synthesize technical, financial, and operational inputs into cohesive narratives.
• Experience partnering with Sales leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Familiarity with proposal management tools (Loopio, RFPIO, SharePoint, Salesforce).
• Proven track record supporting multi-million-dollar enterprise pursuits.
• Comfort working in a matrixed, global organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of strategic, compliant, and persuasive responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and executive proposals.
• Partner with Sales Leaders to shape deal strategy and tailor messaging to enterprise buyers.
• Translate technical and product inputs into clear, benefit-driven content aligned to customer pain points.
• Drive proposal timelines, coordinate cross-functional contributors, and ensure on-time submission.
• Maintain and evolve a content library, reusable assets, and proposal best practices.
• Ensure brand consistency, executive tone, and value-based positioning across submissions.
• Continuously improve win themes, differentiators, and competitive positioning.
• Support executive summaries, solution narratives, and presentation materials for late-stage opportunities.
• Contribute to proposal process optimization, automation, and AI-assisted content generation initiatives.
