Job summary

Franklin Energy seeks a field energy advisor to deliver energy-saving services directly to homeowners, landlords, and utility customers. You will advise on modifications to electric/gas systems and drive program adoption, combining field work with office time.

The role includes presenting to stakeholders, assisting with rebate applications, and coordinating with program managers to meet targets. Travel up to 50% is required, with a focus on customer relations and energy efficiency outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; technical school degree can be considered.
• 1–2 years in electric/natural gas utility, facilities management, HVAC design or related fields.
• Experience in energy efficiency or energy modeling preferred; customer service, sales, or marketing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Direct installation of energy-saving products per program management.
• Promote energy efficiency programs to customers, trade allies, and stakeholders.
• Make outbound calls to existing customers to meet energy-saving targets; pursue new business with new clients.
• Travel to customer sites; manage field time and coordinate with program managers.
• Develop and deliver presentations to raise awareness and provide on-site opportunities
• Assist customers with rebate applications and required documentation
• Enter data into spreadsheets/databases to track energy savings and current projects
• Maintain professional appearance and behavior as a company representative.
