Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking a field-based Energy Advisor to work directly with homeowners, landlords, building owners in Colorado, providing expert guidance on energy efficiency programs and coordinating improvements with utility partners. The role blends field visits with office work and requires strong communication and data-entry skills.

Responsibilities include presenting energy-saving solutions, processing rebate applications, and traveling within the territory up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 1–2 years in energy, utilities, facilities, HVAC, lighting, or related fields preferred.
• Energy efficiency and/or energy modeling experience preferred.
• Customer service, sales, or marketing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct installation of energy saving products as directed by program management.
• Promote energy efficiency programs to customers and stakeholders.
• Make outbound calls and initiate new business with new customers.
• Deliver presentations to raise awareness about the program and opportunities for energy savings.
