Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking a field-based energy advisor to work with homeowners, landlords and utility customers, providing expert advice and coordinating program measures. The role blends field work with office time, typically three field days to two office days per week.

You will promote energy efficiency, identify on-site opportunities, and facilitate rebate processes while collaborating with program management and stakeholders to drive project completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• 3–5 years in electric or natural gas utility, facilities management, HVAC design or related
• 2–3 years in energy efficiency and/or energy modeling
• Customer outreach, sales or marketing experience

Responsibilities

• Direct installation of energy-saving products as directed by program management.
• Promote the energy efficiency program to customers, trade allies and stakeholders.
• Make outbound calls to existing customers to meet energy saving targets.
• Develop and deliver presentations to create awareness about the program.
• Assist Program Manager in training of new team members.
• Lead presentations promoting energy efficiency programs for targeted groups.
