Job summary

Franklin Energy seeks a field-focused energy advisor to install energy-saving products and coordinate with homeowners, landlords, and building owners. You will offer expert program guidance and drive improvements in energy efficiency while engaging clients on-site and in the office, combining fieldwork with planning sessions.

The role requires 1–2 years in the energy/utility sector, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Travel may be < 50% as needed to support program delivery and sales targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical school degree with related field experience.
• 1–2 years in electric or natural gas utility, facilities management, HVAC design, or related.
• Energy efficiency and/or energy modeling experience preferred.
• Customer service, sales, or marketing experience also valued.

Responsibilities

• Direct installation of energy saving products as directed by program management.
• Promote energy efficiency programs to customers, trade allies and stakeholders within your assigned territory.
• Make outbound calls to existing customers to meet energy saving targets and initiate new business with new customers.
• Develop and deliver presentations to create awareness about the program.
• Assist customers through the rebate application process.
• Collaborate with utility customers to provide energy efficiency and related program activities.
