Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking a field-oriented energy advisor to install energy-saving products and coordinate for program delivery. You will advise homeowners and utility customers, discussing efficiency improvements and guiding them through the rebate process, with a mix of on-site and office work.

The role emphasizes strong communication, data entry, and ability to manage multiple projects, while traveling within the designated territory and collaborating with program stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; technical school considered.
• 1–2 years in electric/natural gas utility, facilities management, HVAC design or sales, or related fields.
• Energy efficiency and/or energy modeling experience preferred.
• Customer service, sales, or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct installation of energy saving products as directed by program management.
• Promote energy efficiency program to customers, trade allies and stakeholders within your assigned territory.
• Make outbound calls to existing customers to meet energy saving targets.
• Initiate new business with new customers through business-to-business efforts.
• Discuss technical elements of energy consuming equipment (lighting, HVAC, hot water, insulation, air sealing).
• Assist Program Manager in training new team members and lead presentations promoting energy efficiency programs.
