Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking a field-and-office professional to provide energy efficiency services directly to homeowners, landlords, and utility customers. You will advise on modifications to electrical and/or gas systems and demonstrate how our programs improve efficiency, while coordinating with program managers and stakeholders.

The role blends field visits with office tasks, including data entry, presentations, and client communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required or validated by applicable work history.
• 1–2 years in electric/gas utility, facilities management, HVAC design/sales, or energy management preferred.
• Experience in energy efficiency or energy modeling is a plus.
• Previous customer service, sales, or marketing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct installation of energy saving products as directed by program management.
• Promote energy efficiency program to customers, trade allies and stakeholders.
• Make outbound calls to existing customers to meet energy saving targets.
• Develop and deliver presentations to raise program awareness.
• Assist Program Manager in training new team members.
• Lead presentations promoting energy efficiency programs for targeted groups.
