Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise Teacher to share the gospel and provide engaging instruction to public school students in a classroom setting. Ideal candidates will be active in their church, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a caring, perceptive approach to teaching children.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and customize lessons.
• Maintain attendance records and rosters, including health concerns and parent permissions.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage classroom procedures.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and program director about schedules and student well-being.
