Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a dedicated part-time teacher to share the gospel with students in a classroom setting, combining Bible knowledge with engaging instruction. The ideal candidate will be an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring and perceptive in working with children.

Responsibilities include curriculum implementation, ongoing training, attendance and records maintenance, and attending LifeWise events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy's beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training through LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Invest in building relationships with students and praying for them regularly.
• Maintain an organized, encouraging classroom environment with redeeming discipline.
• Take attendance and manage class rosters and health notes as needed.
• Communicate with program leadership and school staff about schedule changes and student well-being.
