Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time teacher to share Bible knowledge and gospel teaching with public school students in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring and perceptive in working with children.

The role requires completing LifeWise certification, maintaining accurate records, and engaging with volunteers and school staff to support student well-being and growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training and certification as required.
• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and adapt as needed.
• Maintain attendance, rosters, health notes and parent permissions.
• Keep a clean, organized classroom and manage emergency procedures.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and program director regularly.
