Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with the What We Believe section.

Responsibilities

• Complete LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days of start date.
• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Invest in relationships with students and pray for them regularly.
• Maintain an organized, encouraging, and redemptive classroom environment.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters, including health concerns and permissions.
• Prepare information for substitute teachers as needed.
• Communicate with program director, school personnel, and volunteers; share updates and photos.
