Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to share gospel-focused LifeWise curriculum in a classroom setting for public school students. The role requires two years of classroom teaching experience and active church involvement in agreement with the LifeWise Statement of Faith.

You will complete the teacher certification within 30 days, participate in annual LifeWise events, and maintain accurate attendance and class records while building relationships with students and volunteers.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days of start date.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Invest in connecting with students through building relationships and praying for them regularly.
• Maintain attendance and class rosters, health concerns, and parent permissions as noted on slips.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and purchase supplies as needed.
• Act as LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community; attend open houses and outreach events.
• Submit periodic updates and photos to the program director; promote LifeWise's religious mission in all duties.
