Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to share gospel-based Bible instruction in public school classrooms. The role requires a minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience and active church involvement, with a mature Christian faith aligned to the LifeWise Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities include completing the LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days, delivering LifeWise curriculum, building relationships with students, and maintaining organized records.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting.
• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy's beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training (LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days).
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out customized curricula.
• Build relationships with students and pray for them regularly; maintain an organized, engaging classroom environment.
• Follow LifeWise policies, procedures and resources.
• Maintain attendance and class rosters; provide information to program director or school officials as needed.
• Maintain a clean, well-ordered classroom and stay updated on procedures for emergencies.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and LifeWise leadership; share updates and photos as required.
