Werner Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Management professional to build and maintain driver relationships, coordinate loads, and meet driver needs including home time, payroll, and equipment issues.

You will work with operating systems and driver communications to improve service. You will partner with Dedicated Logistics Managers to optimize origin/destination, miles, stops, and driver availability; interface with billing, customer service, risk, safety, payroll, and maintenance; and

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or transportation/logistics preferred.
• 2–3 years of fleet management or transportation experience preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain driver relationships, addressing needs like home time, payroll, and equipment issues.
• Partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads by origin, destination, freight type, miles, and stops.
• Align with customer dynamics and Werner service goals to improve value for the Customer and Werner.
• Interface with billing, vans, customer service, risk, safety, payroll, fuel, maintenance, and external vendors.
• Work with the Logistics Manager to maintain a full board of drivers and timely attendance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Dedicated Logistics Manager.
• Maintain regular attendance according to the scheduled shift.
