Werner Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Manager/Supervisor to strengthen driver relationships and optimize loads while collaborating with multiple departments to meet client expectations.

The role focuses on ensuring home time, payroll support, and equipment issue resolution to maximize driver and customer satisfaction. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Marketing, or Transportation/Logistics or equivalent fleet management experience, plus supervisory exposure.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or 2–3 years of fleet management/transportation experience preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and management skills; ability to operate a computer terminal and satellite communications system.

Mansioni

• Build and maintain driver relationships by understanding and meeting driver needs, including home time, payroll, and equipment issues.
• Partner with the Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads based on origin, destination, freight type, miles, stops, and driver availability.
• Understand and align with customer dynamics and service expectations to improve value for the Customer and Werner.
• Interface with departments such as billing, safety, payroll, maintenance, and external vendors to support operations.
• Work with Managers to fill and maintain a full board of drivers and perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain timely and regular attendance according to the scheduled shift.
