Job summary

Werner Enterprises is seeking a logistics professional in the United States to build strong driver relationships and ensure driver needs are met across home time, payroll, and equipment support. You will work with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize loads based on freight type, origin, destination, and miles, while aligning with customer expectations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and some supervisory experience, with strong organizational and computer/telecom skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics preferred.
• Six months to one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to use computer terminals and communication systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships to meet needs like home time, payroll, and equipment issues.
• Partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads by origin, destination, freight type, miles, and stops.
• Understand and align with customer service goals and Werner’s value delivery.
• Interface with departments such as billing, safety, payroll, fuel, maintenance and vendors.
• Collaborate with Managers to maintain a full board of drivers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dedicated Logistics Manager.
• Maintain timely attendance per shift requirements.
