Job summary

Werner Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a fleet management professional to strengthen driver relationships and optimize loads. You will work with dedicated and associate logistics teams to balance origin, destination, and miles while aligning with customer expectations and Werner's goals.

The role requires a degree or equivalent fleet management experience, supervisory exposure, and strong organizational and communications skills across terminals and satellite systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2–3 years fleet management/transportation experience preferred.
• 6–12 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and experience with computer terminals and satellite communications.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships to meet home time, payroll, and equipment needs.
• Coordinate with managers to optimize driver loads by origin, freight, and miles.
• Align with customer dynamics and Werner’s service goals to improve value.
• Interface with billing, safety, payroll, and other departments as needed.
• Support full driver board with the Dedicated Logistics Manager and Operations Manager.
• Attend shifts on schedule and perform related duties as assigned.
