Job summary

Werner Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a driver-focused supervisor to build and maintain relationships, understand driver needs, and support home time, payroll and equipment efficiency.

You will collaborate with the Dedicated Logistics team to optimize loads and ensure safety, service and cost targets are met. Key duties include interfacing with billing, safety, payroll and maintenance, leading a small team, and maintaining a full schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics preferred.
• Six months to one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and experience with computers and telemetry systems required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships to meet home time, payroll, equipment and safety needs.
• Partner with managers to optimize driver loads based on origin, destination, freight type, miles and stops.
• Understand and align with customer dynamics and service expectations to improve value for the Customer and Werner.
