Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Management and dock experience required.
• Thorough understanding of trucking industry and paperwork flow preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching and termination capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work 50 hours per week including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead dock employees, set targets, monitor performance and provide coaching.
• Ensure safe, efficient dock operations and proper scheduling.
• Enforce company policies, safety rules and procedures.
• Involve in hiring and termination decisions as needed.
• Manage and communicate dock-related paperwork with customers.
• Oversee equipment movement and adherence to schedules.
• Maintain daily use of company tools to improve processes.
• Regular attendance and ability to work under time pressure.
