Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in LTL trucking management or dispatch preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching and termination decision experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead dock employees; set targets and monitor performance.
• Enforce safety, policy compliance and government regulations.
• Assist in hiring and termination decisions for the team.
• Oversee scheduling, dock planning and cost reduction efforts.
• Communicate with customers by phone, fax or email.
• Manage dock paperwork to ensure timely, accurate handling.
