Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor degree preferred.
• Thorough understanding of the LTL trucking industry preferred.
• Prior management, dispatch and dock experience in LTL trucking.
• Knowledge of local metropolitan area.
• Strong leadership including hiring, coaching, training and termination.

Responsibilities

• Lead dock employees, set targets, monitor performance and provide coaching.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant dock operations and scheduling.
• Oversee hiring/termination processes; enforce company policies and safety rules.
• Manage KPI achievement and use tools to improve efficiency and cost.
• Communicate with customers via phone, fax or email; ensure timely paperwork.
