Job summary

Endeavors is seeking a Disaster Human Services Case Manager to provide survivor-centered case management during field or remote operations. You will perform intake and screening, develop recovery plans, coordinate resources, monitor progress, and maintain comprehensive documentation while protecting privacy and ensuring equitable access to services.

Responsibilities include deploying to field or remote environments, coordinating with partners, and ensuring readiness for ongoing readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field, or equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience in case management, disaster recovery, or crisis intervention preferred.
• Ability to deploy nationally and travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct disaster survivor intake, screening, and needs assessments using approved tools and procedures.
• Develop individualized recovery plans with survivors and establish achievable recovery goals.
• Identify, verify, and coordinate available federal, state, tribal, territorial, local, nonprofit, and community resources to address unmet needs.
• Provide resource referrals and follow-up; assist survivors in navigating benefits, services, and recovery resources.
• Apply the FEMA sequence of delivery, when applicable, and support efforts to avoid duplication of benefits.
• Maintain regular survivor contact and document progress, referrals, outcomes, and follow-up activities.
• Enter and maintain accurate case information and required statistics in approved case management systems.
• Protect PII and survivor records; comply with Privacy Act and confidentiality requirements.
• Use culturally responsive practices and support inclusion of individuals with disabilities and others with access needs.
• Coordinate with partners and participate in required readiness and training activities.
• Maintain deployment readiness and be able to deploy to field/remote environments.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service, prioritizing clients and communities.
