Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks an experienced leader for the Transportation Business Group’s Alternative Delivery initiatives. You will oversee pursuit and delivery of major transportation projects, drive policy-compliant approvals, and coordinate with HDR Legal for contract terms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field is required.
Professional licensure (PE) preferred for leadership roles.
Minimum 10 years of experience in related field.
Minimum 15+ years of professional engineering experience that includes pursuit and execution of large civil infrastructure design and design management on major transportation Alternative Delivery projects.

Responsibilities

Report directly to the Project Delivery Program Director and be responsible for the effective pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
Drive the Alternative Delivery project approvals in compliance with HDR policy and procedures.
Facilitate collaboration with HDR Business Group Alternative Delivery Directors regarding policy, staff resources, contractor and developer relationships, and contract terms.
Work closely with HDR Legal to establish and negotiate contract terms for Alternative Delivery projects.
Facilitate collaboration among Transportation Business Group leadership and Regional Alternative Delivery Leads regarding client discussions on upcoming projects.
