Job summary

Amivie, LLC is seeking DSPs to provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and related needs. You will assist with daily living activities, support skill-building, and document care in the electronic health record, while safely transporting individuals to community activities.

Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED, be 18+, hold a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and pass background checks and a TB health

Qualifications

• Must have technology proficiency and the ability to operate electronic systems.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation.
• Must successfully complete all background checks.
• TB health screening may be required depending on state programing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with goal completion as documented in the individualized support plan.
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding as needed.
• Safely transport individuals in company or personally owned vehicles.
• Accompany individuals to community integration activities.
• Complete all required documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) in a timely manner.
• Actively engage with individuals in home and community settings.
• Uphold and advocate for individual rights and ensure confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Adhere to company policies, maintain professional boundaries, and act as a mandated reporter for abuse or exploitation.
