Job summary

Amivie, LLC is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide compassionate, person-centered care for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, mental health, or substance use challenges in their home and community settings. You will help with daily living skills, behavior support, and community participation.

You will document progress in the electronic health record, follow training on medications, safety, and rights, and collaborate with care teams to support

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Must successfully complete all background checks.
• Must successfully complete health screening (TB).

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with goal completion as documented in the support plan.
• Provide ADL assistance (bath, grooming, toileting, feeding, meals) as needed.
• Safely transport individuals in company or personal vehicles.
• Accompany individuals to community integration activities.
• Complete documentation in the EHR in a timely manner.
• Engage with individuals in home and community.
• Uphold and advocate for individual rights at all times.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Follow policies and professional boundaries.
• Serve as mandated reporter for abuse or neglect.
