Job summary

TEKsystems in Brook Park, OH is seeking candidates for a Desktop Support role to diagnose and fix software and hardware issues, deploy Windows 10/11, and image machines. This onsite position offers a contract-to-hire path with benefits starting Day One and a pay range of $16.00–$17.00 per hour.

Prior helpdesk or PC technician experience is preferred, and IT certifications are desirable. Join a local enterprise client and grow within IT support through hands-on training and advancement

Qualifications

• Experience in Helpdesk/Desktop Support/PC Technician preferred.
• IT certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents across operating systems (Windows and Mac) and applications.
• Swap laptops/desktops and deploy Windows 10/11.
• Re-imaging Windows 11 from Windows 10.
• Assist users with IT incidents when called upon.
• Own issues by performing analysis and implementing fixes to restore service.
• Record and update requests in the IT service desk system.
• Install and configure new IT equipment.
• Resolve incidents and upgrade software/hardware.
• Troubleshoot printers, copiers, and scanners.
• Maintain high-quality customer service for all users.
