Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee Delivery activities, guiding staff, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and maintaining efficient service to customer locations. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a focus on accuracy in records and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with a preference for a related college degree, 1–3 years of experience, and familiarity with DOT/OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 2- or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work and safety of Delivery Associates, ensures adherence to SOPs and planned routes.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations (DOT, OSHA) and accurate electronic logs.
• Manages labor hours and consumables within budget; prepares work schedules.
• Oversees use of company assets and coordinates repairs as needed.
• Reviews delivery productivity and implements efficiency improvements.
• Interprets policies and enforces safety, recordkeeping, and regulatory protocols.
• Communicates with Sales and Marketing to resolve customer or delivery issues.
