Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee Delivery activities, ensuring safety, compliance and efficient customer service. The role directs delivery staff, enforces SOPs, and partners with Safety and Sales teams to resolve issues.

A high school diploma or GED with 1–3 years related experience is required. Knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations and proficiency with standard office software is expected; CDL and HazMat are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; relevant experience considered.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• 2– or 4-year degree in Business Management or Supply Chain preferred.
• Defensive driving certification is a plus.
• Valid Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily delivery staff and safety adherence.
• Ensure DOT/OSHA compliance and accurate logs.
• Manage labor hours and supplies within budget.
• Prepare schedules including extra shifts as needed.
• Coordinate asset use and maintenance with other departments.
• Communicate with Sales and Marketing to resolve issues.
